This is HMCS Stormont. A former river class frigate that served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War.
She fought primarily in the Battle of the Atlantic and saw service in the Arctic.
She also served as one of 57 RCN vessels to support Operation Neptune, the amphibious invasion of Normandy, France, that were part of D-Day (Operation Overlord) in June 1944.
