You can use the tabs independently or jointly to control list or bow rise. By effectively using your trim tabs you will gain performance as your motor(s) will not labor as much to get on a plane resulting in better economy. Trim tabs work by creating an upward pressure to raise the stern resulting in lowering your bow.
