BoatUS Magazine's fishing editor Lenny Rudow explains how to rig outriggers for offshore fishing. Outriggers on a fishing boat are used for deep sea trolling. Here's how to set the trolling lines in the clips and get a spread behind your boat. Using outriggers allows you to use more fishing lines at the same time to fish a wider area and simulate a school of fish and thus offer greater opportunities to catch more. This video also shows a simple 8 line outrigger setup diagram.
