The return of the Catawba Island Boat Show last weekend was a big success because you chose to attend. This was the first in-person boat show held anywhere in the Great Lakes in more than 16 months. Cancelled last year by Covid, we were hopeful you would come back this year. . . and you were there to welcome the show back.
By far, this was the most extensive staging of this show at CIC in the event’s 16-year history. Frankly, we wanted to have a big return. That’s why we expanded the layout, added fishing and boating clinics, increased local musical entertainment, hand-picked food trucks for quality, and created a “welcome to summer” atmosphere.
Thanks to you the response was everything we hoped for and more, with excellent attendance all three days by so many boaters happy to see the show return. We sincerely hope you had a good time and we wish you fair winds and smooth seas for the summer ahead.
