Boynton Beach Inlet – Underwater Video of a Few Fish

Boynton Beach Inlet – Underwater video of a few fish I saw while recording video for a new project.

While recording video in the Boynton Beach Inlet for a new photogrammetry project I stopped and tossed in the GoPro. This was recorded near top of the afternoon High Tide. Today was a day we should have had a Deep Trekker Pivot ROV in the water.

The GoPro Hero 8 underwater camera case was bitten by a small Goliath Grouper. Now it leaks from time to time. There were a few very small Nurse Sharks today, the video of them came out very blurry. Next time I’ll chum the water a little more and make it interesting. WOW, time for some more underwater video!

Boynton Beach Inlet – GoPro at Sunset

Testing a new PVC pipe set to 10 feet below the surface.

Step into the captivating world of underwater exploration as we embark on an extraordinary journey at the Boynton Beach Inlet. With unwavering determination and an insatiable curiosity, we pushed the boundaries of discovery, immersing ourselves in the depths of the ocean. Today, I share with you the fascinating results of our latest endeavor.

As the radiant sun gently descended on the horizon, casting its golden hues across the shimmering waters, we stood on the precipice of a momentous occasion. Our mission: to test a revolutionary PVC pipe designed to carry the illustrious GoPro Hero 8 into the heart of the Boynton Beach Inlet. With bated breath, we unleashed the power of innovation and possibility.

Imagine the thrill of witnessing the camera gracefully descend, capturing the hidden wonders that lay beneath the surface. Our objective was to achieve a precise depth of 10 feet, unveiling a world seldom seen by human eyes. However, this time, we opted to remove the stabilizer fin, a bold decision that would shed light on the mysteries of vibration.

Alas, as the PVC pipe embraced its mission, a mesmerizing dance unfolded before us. The pipe spun, gracefully twirling in the current, revealing an unexpected symphony of movement. Though the vibration mirrored our previous trials with the stabilizer intact, we couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer elegance of this unforeseen spectacle.

While this particular expedition may not have yielded extraordinary revelations, it was not without its charm. Schools of vibrant, enchanting fish populated the waters, captivating us with their graceful maneuvers. Alas, the sun descended too quickly, casting a fleeting shadow upon our path. Yet, fear not, for within another video lies the captivating presence of majestic Barracuda, a testament to the hidden treasures awaiting our eager lenses.

Permit me a moment to diverge from the immediate subject at hand, for I cannot contain my excitement in sharing an irresistible opportunity with you. Delve into the depths of the Boynton Beach Inlet, courtesy of our dedicated efforts. The sheer splendor and mystique captured in this footage beckon us to contemplate the wonders that lie beneath the surface.

Yet, let us not rest on the laurels of our past achievements. Nay, it is time to embrace progress and propel ourselves further into the realm of exploration. Our unwavering pursuit of knowledge demands an upgrade, an advancement that will elevate our capabilities to unprecedented heights. I implore you to consider the remarkable ROV, a marvel of modern technology that will grant us unrivaled access to the wonders of the underwater world.

It is with a heavy heart that I confess the recent cloudiness of the water during our expeditions. However, let not this setback deter our unwavering determination, for we stand resolute in our quest for clearer vistas and breathtaking imagery. I remain optimistic that the days ahead will present us with the opportunity to capture unparalleled video footage, leaving us in awe of nature’s unyielding beauty.

Join us as we dive headfirst into a realm where the mundane transforms into the extraordinary, and where the secrets of the deep unlock the mysteries of our world. Together, let us venture into the unknown, to witness the marvels that await us beneath the surface. The time for exploration is now, and the possibilities are limitless.
