Record BREAKING Day! Commercial Kingfish Fishing
Adam from Movin weight fishing gave me a meat call and said the kingfish were chewing! Needless to say, I headed out with the boys for a full day of commercial king mackerel fishing. We started out the day catching Spanish sardines for live bait and headed offshore. We immediately got into the kingfish our first drift and tore them up all day long! For me it was a record day in terms of kingfish landed and even the boys said it was one of their best day this entire season. Kingfish are highly regulated and you are allowed 75 fish per vessel, we ended the day with 74 fish. All the fish were caught legally and sustainably and will end up in seafood markets, restaurants and distribution centers across the country.
