No Way OLD BAY?! Professional Crabber Teaches How To Steam Crabs

A professional crabber teaches how to steam crabs the Maryland way. Captain Cj, of FV Miss Paula, has been a professional crabber for 20 years and before that grew up on the Chesapeake crabbing and fishing. He demonstrates how he & Marylanders steam crabs, while dispelling a big misconception... OLD BAY Seasoning. Visit seafood restaurants around the world and you're liable to find "Maryland Style Crab (cakes, imperial, soft crab, etc...)" on the menu. Maryland is the definitive spot for Blue Crab. When visitors come to Maryland, there's nothing like ordering up and breaking into some steamed Jimmies while on the Chesapeake. Most people who visit, often go away thinking Old Bay Seasoning & Maryland are synonomous. After all, its on a lot of marketing, T-shirts and decor so its understandable. There are a lot of videos that teach how to steam crabs Maryland style, but few hit the mark on the true Maryland secret... 🦀 We DON'T USE Old Bay. 🦀
