Mystery Grouper | Slow Pitch Jigging | Deep Sea Fishing | Offshore Fishing | JohnnyJigs With the cards stacked against us we headed offshore from Pacific Fins resort in Guatemala in hopes of catching grouper slow pitch jigging. Deep sea fishing in Guatemala usually consist of trolling for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, or Marlin. We asked the captain to do something out of his comfort zone and allow us to drop a slow pitch jig. Finding structure proved to be challenging but it all paid off in the end. This was a truly epic day for all of us.
