MASSIVE Wahoo! EPIC 11 Fish Day Catch Clean Cook
My buddy Kody Michael called @Brook Crist Outdoors and I to come fish offshore with him in Key West, FL for the annual wahoo run. As the water cools down in the Florida keys huge schools of migratory wahoo take residence along the coast. We started the day by catching baitfish know as red tail scad aka speedos, but using a combination of sabiki hooks and a hoop net, luring them in with a chum bag. We spent the day slow trolling our live baits with stinger hooks and went 11/14 on wahoo! This was the most epic day of wahoo fishing I've ever experience and the best part it was all on light spinning tackle. Kody caugtht a giant wahoo weighing in at 70lbs!
